Blackwell Campout
In September we had our first campout at the Blackwell Forest Preserve in DuPage County. It was a great outing with perfect early fall weather. Blackwell offered us an opportunity to earn our Fishing Belt Loop, climb Mt. Hoy and enjoy some smores under a starry sky.
AirFest 2014
This past August the pack attend the largest local Scouting event of the summer at Lewis University, AirFest 2014. With over 1,500 scouts and family’s the event was well attended. There were airplanes, pilots, robots and so much more !
Day Camp 2014
Over the summer Pack 249 attended the Council Day Camp. Day Camp includes multiple stations that the Pack rotates through each day. Stations included; Archery, Rifle Range, Fitness, Safety, Crafts, CSI… The Pack also performed a skit on the last day, Walk the Plank, which is shown in the images below.
