Our first Cub Scout Pack Meeting will be this Thursday, August 22nd at 7pm at the Lemont United Methodist Church (LUMC). We will be handing out all the awards earned over the summer, kicking off our Popcorn Fundraiser, and awarding neckerchiefs and slides for the Scout’s new ranks.
When the Scouts arrive at LUMC, they should be seated with their Den (look for seats marked by their Den flag). Parents can be seated behind the Dens (except the Tiger Cub parents, who should sit with their Scout). We will have “ushers” greeting families at the door to help direct people to their proper place.
In order to support our ongoing community service efforts, please bring an item for the Lemont Food Pantry. Please note, the Pantry receives mostly canned and boxed foods, but could always use cleaning supplies and toiletries too.
Don’t forget to buy tickets at the meeting for our yummy Cake Bake Raffle! $1 per ticket, or 6 tickets for $5.
